To ensure you have a pleasant visit to Tierwelt Herberstein and to avoid disturbing the animals in their natural habitat, we ask that you follow these guidelines:

• Warning! – All animal enclosures are secured with electric fences and clearly marked!
• The zoo assumes no liability for damage or injuries of any kind!
• Parents or guardians are responsible for their children!
• Children and adolescents under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
• You are not allowed to leave the marked trails.
• Use of the playgrounds is at your own risk.
• Barriers are there for your safety! Do not climb over, step over, reach over, or use the barriers as a seat!
• You must follow the staff's instructions at all times.
• Animals are not permitted—with the exception of dogs on a short leash.
• Dogs are not permitted in the castle or the House of Biodiversity.
• Bringing bicycles, roller skates (rollerblades), scooters, radios, balls, etc., is not permitted.
• Animals must not be disturbed, frightened, pelted with objects, chased, or harassed in any other way.
• Feeding animals is strictly prohibited throughout the entire park! You are not allowed to bring animal feed into the park.
• Damaging plants is prohibited!
• The plants and berries found in the park are not safe to eat!
• Avoid noise!
• Please help us keep the parking area clean by using the many trash cans provided!
• Please note that smoking is prohibited throughout the zoo grounds, except in designated areas!
• During events at the zoo, video and photo recordings may be made for event documentation and marketing purposes. If you do not consent to this, please inform the ticket office of your preference before visiting the zoo.

By purchasing a ticket, you fully accept the visitor rules. Violation of these rules will result in removal from the premises by our staff and possible legal action!
