Compensation Information:

According to the KV Gastronomie collective bargaining agreement. The actual classification depends on the type of school/training and any prior work experience.

Sales Associate (m/f/d) for the Simbawelt Souvenir Shop

Part-time position, 20 to 30 hours per week, with a fixed-term contract through the end of October 2026

Job Description:

  • Product Consultation and Sales
  • Careful Use of the Point-of-Sale System
  • Class B driver's license (passenger car) to ensure access to the workplace

Compensation Information:

A minimum salary in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement is provided for this position. Performance-based compensation is offered, depending on qualifications and prior work experience. We are willing to pay above the standard rate.

Finance and HR Associate

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of monthly analyses and management reports
  • Processing Cost Accounting
  • Reconciliation and clearing of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger accounts
  • Filing of Contracts and Grant Documents
  • Preparation of Grant Reports and Supplementary Submissions
  • Updating Grant Status & Meeting Billing Deadlines
  • Entering Outgoing Invoices

Job Description:

  • Training as an accountant or a high school diploma, such as from HASCH/HAK or comparable programs
  • Several years of professional experience preferred
  • Ability to work well with others, resilient, and dedicated
  • Attention to detail, planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent computer skills, particularly with MS Office
  • Knowledge of BMD NTCS is a plus
  • Excellent German language skills
  • A friendly, well-groomed appearance
  • Car for Commuting to Work

Catering Manager (m/f/d)

Permanent full-time position (40 hours per week)

Operational Responsibilities:

  • Coordination and management of day-to-day operations at all food and beverage outlets operated by Simbawelt Shop- und Gastronomie GmbH: these include the Zooschenke, Cafe Eichenbock, Panoramaplatzl, and Restaurant Simbawelt—a total of four establishments (some offering self-service, others à la carte)
  • Supporting management in operational decision-making
  • Purchasing Planning and Order Processing, Including Inventory Management
  • Event Management

Hygiene, Quality, and Process Optimization:

  • Ensuring Compliance with and Further Developing the HACCP Standard
  • Quality controls in all areas of the restaurant industry
  • Optimization of foodservice processes (kitchen, service), including cost structures and quality management

Team Leadership

  • Leading a team of up to 20+ employees
  • Workforce Planning and Scheduling
  • Recruiting, Onboarding, and Performance Reviews

Business Development

  • Participation in corporate development projects, such as renovations, etc.
  • Participation in product development, such as events, evening gatherings, etc.
  • Implementation of Structured Work Processes

Profile

  • Several years of (management) experience in the restaurant industry and operations management
  • Resilience and Solution-Oriented Thinking
  • Organizational skills and a structured approach to work
  • Very good command of German
  • Numeracy and IT Skills
  • Willingness to work on weekends, holidays, and in the evenings
  • Strong communication skills and leadership abilities
  • Doesn't hesitate to roll up his sleeves and pitch in, whether it's in the kitchen, logistics, or office work

Working Hours: Full-time employment totaling 40 hours per week

Compensation Information:

The minimum salary is 3,300 euros gross per month. Higher pay may be offered depending on education, prior work experience, and as agreed upon.
