Our newly built diaper-changing and breastfeeding hut is definitely hard to miss.
Located at the children's playground, between Bison and Zebra, this facility is now available free of charge to our young families and can be used by all breastfeeding moms and dads changing diapers.
From nursing sofas and changing tables to a play area for older siblings—you’ll find everything new moms and dads need. The nursing and changing room is equipped with both air conditioning and heating, ensuring a comfortable temperature year-round.
This retreat offers the privacy young families need and underscores that we are now better equipped to accommodate our youngest guests, making us even more family-friendly.

Worth emulating
When we visited Tierwelt Herberstein again the other day, we were amazed: There’s now a dedicated breastfeeding and diaper-changing hut right in the middle of the (beautiful, well-maintained!) zoo grounds, next to the playground! It’s designed with such care, in pink and blue! As a mom of three, I was thrilled: It’s a fantastic idea and definitely worth emulating! Three cheers for Tierwelt Herberstein.
