Embark on a colorful journey across Africa and get to know this continent and all it has to offer!
“Spirit of Africa” – musicians, dancers, and actors from IYASA (Zimbabwe): impressive voices, live music, and a rhythm that will sweep you away!
“Elephant Moon” – in this ancient African fairy tale, a black-and-white blend of dance, acting, puppetry, and music from Africa and Europe is performed, sung, and danced in a co-production by Theatro Piccolo and IYASA (Zimbabwe).
Drumming workshops, African folktales, and singing and dancing games introduce children and adults to the continent of wonder. A colorful market featuring African art and crafts, along with a fantastic children’s program centered on the African animals at Tierwelt Herberstein, round out the African experience.
