A company outing took Governor Franz Voves and his staff to the “ Tierwelt Herberstein .” He was so impressed by the wildlife of Eastern Styria that he spontaneously decided to sponsor a bison.

Governor Franz Voves and his team took advantage of the perfect weather for an outing yesterday to go on a company trip to Eastern Styria. Of course, a tour of the “ Tierwelt Herberstein ” was on the agenda for the day. Managing Director Doris Wolkner-Steinberger surprised the governor with some good news: “Over the Pentecost weekend, we welcomed our 50,000th visitor of the season!” Governor Voves was thrilled by the many new attractions that Tierwelt has introduced over the past three years. On the spot, he became the sponsor of a young bison bull, who will now be known as “Franz.”
