A company outing took Governor Franz Voves and his staff to Tierwelt Herberstein. He was so impressed by the wildlife park in Eastern Styria that he spontaneously agreed to sponsor a bison.

Governor Franz Voves and his team took advantage of the perfect weather yesterday for a company outing to Eastern Styria. Of course, a tour of Tierwelt Herberstein was on the agenda for the day. Managing Director Doris Wolkner-Steinberger surprised the governor with some good news: “Over the Pentecost weekend, we were already able to welcome our 50,000th visitor of the season!” Governor Voves was thrilled by the many new attractions that Tierwelt Herberstein has introduced over the past three years. On the spot, he sponsored a young bison bull, who will now go by the name “Franz.”
