Why is the festival being held?
Michaela Frewein: 2011 is our “Call of America” theme year. It kicks off with this festival and continues throughout July, August, and September with workshops focused on America’s wildlife.
What attractions can we look forward to?
Michaela Frewein: Lots of action and adventure, such as a Native American trail with great prizes, archery, drumming, stomping, singing, playing the pan flute, and—as a musical highlight—the group Pachakuti.
