The zebra-patterned water bottle is available at the souvenir shop, the Zoo Gift Shop, and the Panoramaplatzl. The bottle can be refilled with the beverage of your choice at a discounted price and reused—whether for your next visit to the zoo or for other occasions.

There is another regional novelty at the zoo’s dining establishments. To continually expand the range of offerings with regional products, the beverage EVAN—produced in Gralla, Styria—has been added to the lineup.

For the past 9 years, the food and beverage operations have been managed as Simbawelt Shop- und Gastronomiebetriebs GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Styrian State Zoo, and are also led by Zoo Director Doris Wolkner-Steinberger. “I really enjoy working on every aspect of the zoo, but the food service division is especially close to my heart,” says the energetic managing director.
