On Saturday, October 7 (or the following day in case of rain), from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., the entrance area of Tierwelt Herberstein will be dedicated entirely to nature and the environment. Eleven organizations will present interesting facts about nature conservation.

Nature Conservation in Styria

The “Biodiversity Market” showcases a cross-section of Styrian nature conservation efforts in all their exciting and fascinating facets. “What are the goals of nature conservation?” “How does it benefit us all?” “What can I personally do?”

At the “Biodiversity Market,” interested visitors can talk with people who are working to protect our natural environment—and thus the foundations of our lives—through a wide variety of associations and organizations. The “Biodiversity Market” raises awareness of nature conservation in Styria and makes it an experience everyone can enjoy.
