If you’d like to learn more about these fascinating animals and their conservation, you’ve come to the right place. During the event weekend, you’ll learn interesting facts about the red pandas’ way of life, their special abilities, and—most importantly—why it’s so important to protect these charismatic animals. As a gift for our youngest guests, every child can take home their own red panda button as a personal souvenir.

Things get especially exciting during the guided feedings, which will take place exclusively this weekend at the red panda enclosure. Visitors can observe what the red pandas like to eat and how they behave while doing so. There’s also a guided feeding nearby at the siamang enclosure—an additional event that offers fascinating insights into the lives of these fascinating primates.

And, of course, keep your eyes peeled! With a little luck, the red panda couple will make an appearance, and you might even get to watch the two cubs on their first explorations. Anyone who’s seen these little climbers in person knows that with red pandas, every peek into their enclosure is a little journey of discovery.
