Almost like in the wild: The “ Tierwelt Herberstein ” is one of Styria’s most popular family destinations, as it features over 700 animals from five continents in spacious, natural-looking habitats. Visitors stroll along a loop trail that winds through Africa, the Americas, Europe, Asia, and Australia. The animals that are most popular with visitors include all the big cats, monkeys, and kangaroos. For families, there are guided animal feedings, a petting zoo with goats, mini Appaloosas, and white Baroque donkeys, as well as spacious play and recreation areas.
